I made this as part of my MA minor studies at Aalto University on comics 2013. This was the first time I worked with coal and water and tried out a technique of photographing a changing canvas of originals. I have continued with this interesting technique in my on-going graphic novel work by adding also pencil drawing and painting. The emphasis was to show how different Finland would look like in different scenarios depending on the direction we choose. The datasheet folds into a 1 litre cube from which the reduction gained by certain choices has been sliced out to visualise the effect of the choice on your carbon footprint.
